There are several reasons why patients choose to get circumcised at an adult age. Some require circumcision as a cure for conditions like Phimosis (an overly tight foreskin) while others choose circumcision for cosmetic and personal reasons. With our skin glue closure method we are able to obtain an improved cosmetic outcome without the typical multiple suture track marks in the skin.

POLLOCK TECHNIQUE CIRCUMCISION
We are often asked; “Am I too old to get circumcised?” and the answer is almost invariably “no”. Men and youth of all ages can have the surgery in our clinic. The most common age range for adult circumcision is 20 – 40 years old, but the procedure is regularly performed on a larger age range as requested for medical and personal reasons. Our team and our internal procedures are optimised to deliver care to men requiring circumcision. We perform adult circumcision using the Pollock Technique which uses a mogen clamp circumcision using the Pollock Technique™. It provides good cosmetic results. You will receive detailed written instructions for post-surgery care as well as consult one-on-one with the doctor. You will be provided with Dr Hunt’s direct number for any post-op question or concern.
This method uses a combination of local anesthetic and quick surgical technique, with the mogen clamp and use of skin glue. With the skin glue closure method, we have been able to obtain improved cosmetic outcomes without suture track marks in the mucosa and skin. In addition, glue closure is faster than sutures. NO-SCALPEL VASECTOMY BENEFITS VS. CONVENTIONAL VASECTOMY METHODS
- Our No scalpel vasectomy is a simple and in-office procedure that many studies show has significant advantages over conventional vasectomy.
- NSV is comparatively faster, has a swifter recovery time, safer (one-eighth the rate of bleeding and infection) and can be virtually pain-free – especially when coupled with effective anaesthesia – as done at our Sydney vasectomy clinic.
- With a conventional vasectomy procedure, a doctor would make two incisions, one on each side of the scrotum, perform the procedure, and then stitch up the incisions. The stitches would then have to be removed about a week later.

Dr. David Hunt is a well known & respected Queensland physician. He has a personal mission statement to achieve professional excellence in leadership and healthcare delivery with the utmost in compassion and integrity.
Dr Hunt studied medicine at The University of Queensland and graduated in 1986. He completed residencies at the Royal Brisbane & QEII Hospitals.
After extensive research on circumcision methods in use today in Australia and around the world, Dr. Hunt chose to have extensive training with Dr. Neil Pollock.
